ALTA Surveys

ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys are the most detailed and comprehensive land surveys available. They are required for the sale, financing or development of raw land and commercial, industrial and large multifamily projects.
 
ALTA surveys are prepared in accordance with nationally recognized standards, with the 2011 standards being the most current.
 
A properly prepared and executed ALTA survey allows the title company to waive the five general exceptions to title insurance for extended title insurance coverage.
 
To order an ALTA survey, the following information is needed:
  • Table A items required by your sales contract
  • The parties to whom the survey will be certified
  • Copy of a current title commitment, including survey-related Schedule B documents (if you don’t have a title commitment, we can help you procure one – just ask us how)
